Epilox® 5100 Infusion System

The Epilox® Infusion System 5100 consists of one epoxy resin and 3 amine hardeners specially designed for the vacuum assisted resin infusion molding process.

Epilox® Infusion Resin ER 5100 is a modified epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A. It is solvent free and unfilled.

Epilox® Hardener EC 5110 features medium potlife and high TG with very short curing times at 70-80°C. This system is suitable for infusion technologies including carbon fibres.

Epilox® Hardener EC 5120 combines long potlife and high TG with short curing times at 70-80°C. This system is suitable for infusion technologies including carbon fibre and ‘one shot’ production of thick composite parts.

Epilox® Hardener EC 5130 combines extremely long potlife and high TG with medium curing times at 70-80°C. This system is suitable for infusion technologies including carbon fibres and ‘one shot’ production of very thick composites parts.

Epilox® Infusion system 5100/5120 is approved by DNV GL Certificate No: TAK00000W2

Applications:

Epilox® Infusion System 5100 is designed for the manufacture of structural composites for the wind energy industry featuring high static and dynamic load ability with glass, carbon and aramid fiber reinforcements. Due to the special curing properties this system is especially suitable for the production of large composite parts.
